Job Description

• Support Operations of Distribution system equipment (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
• Substation inspections during construction period.
• Received safety documents (Authorizations) from Operation Technician as required by Distribution Safety Rules
• Cable Tracing
• Supervise or perform cable testing, fault location, identification, and spiking.
• Supervise or perform Cable Testing and Cable Fault Location
• Supervise or perform Cable Identification and Cable Spiking
• Supervision on the installation, testing and commissioning of substation equipment and capital/system improvement projects.
• Supervision of Service Contractors
• Perform safety Audits.
• Support Meter Technician duties where required.
• Do standby duties.
• Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Holds Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering
• Holds Suruhanjaya Tenaga Certificate of AO Competency or above.
• At least 3 years working experience in electrical related field.
