Meter Technician

Job Description

Meter installation, meter replacement, meter reading and meter security.
Meter reconnection, disconnection, change of tenancy.
Meter accuracy checks
Meter data download
Reset date & time in meters.
Service cable and meter relocation work either carried out own self or supervising contractor.
Lead the non-payment disconnection/reconnection.
Attend to customer complaints regarding metering.
Issue of Safety documents as required by Distribution Safety Rules.
Give access to TNB (BM and Kulim) for work associated with TNB meters.
Liaison with TNB metering unit for TNB meter issue when it arises.
Customer Service calls.
Update/create WO for meter accuracy in CMMS.
Release/print/complete WO for meter accuracy in CMMS.
Voltage checks from meter accuracy forms, filing of meter accuracy job cards (WO) and meter accuracy forms and confirm softcopy records updated.
Update KPI-Delivered Voltage Info excel file in DI/ISO-KPI.
Meter accuracy test for meter return from service.
Meter Technician is required to drive distribution vehicles and other vehicles as may be assigned.
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
