Job Description
- Monitoring and Management of Distribution Network System (LV, 11 kV, 33 kV, 132 kV)
- Switching operation of Distribution System Assets
- Planning the operations of Distribution System Assets
- Plan and Prepare Switching Plan
- Maintain HV & MV grid network Single Line Diagram
- Perform plant outage and network system outage coordination
- Set priorities, coordinate and control field response crews (operation & SCADA technician) in switching throughout the network
- Managing of Distribution Operation Technicians and Distribution SCADA Technicians.
- Monitors and analyses system parameter compliance and performance.
- Manage network system improvement projects.
- Liaison with commercial unit and customers and customers’ representative when required.
- Preparation, implementation and review of Distribution Operation Procedures, Safety Rule and Standing Instructions.
- Ensuring safe working and compliance with Distribution Safety Rules.
- Conduct safety audits.
- Do standby duties.
- Any other responsibilities that may be required, in the interests of the Company from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Hold Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Registered with Board of Engineer Malaysia as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate.
- Hold Suruhanjaya Tenaga 132kV Competent Engineer certificate.
- At Least 5 years of working experience in operation and maintenance of an electrical distribution network.
