The 2/2025 MELP Steering Committee Meeting was held on 29 November 2025 at NUR Power Sdn. Bhd., Kulim Hi-Tech Park. 

The Malaysia Energy Literacy Programme (MELP) is a national initiative that promotes energy awareness, responsible consumption, and informed decision-making to support Malaysia’s sustainable energy future. 

Chaired by YB Akmal Nasrullah bin Nasir, former Deputy Minister of PETRA, the meeting reviewed MELP’s achievements throughout 2025 and deliberated on the proposed KPIs and flagship programmes for 2026. 

The session was attended by senior representatives and key stakeholders from the energy sector, including government agencies, industry regulators, foundation, and power utilities companies.
